Cancellation & Refund Policy
1. Scope
This policy applies to subscriptions to the AcadFlows platform and related charges billed by [Company Name]. It forms part of our Terms & Conditions.
2. Subscription cancellation
- You may cancel your subscription at any time by written notice to connect@acadflows.com or via your account, subject to any minimum term agreed in your Order.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period unless otherwise agreed. You retain access until the end of the paid period.
- Annual plans cancelled mid-term remain billable for the committed term unless your Order states otherwise.
3. Refund eligibility
- Monthly plans: fees already paid for the current month are generally non-refundable; you will not be charged for subsequent months after cancellation.
- Annual plans: refunds for the unused portion may be considered on a pro-rata basis at our discretion, less any non-refundable items below and any discount benefit already availed.
- Service failure: where we materially fail to provide the Service and do not remedy it within the agreed timeframe, you may be entitled to a pro-rata credit or refund as set out in your Order's service-level terms.
4. Metered usage
Usage-based charges (for example, WhatsApp, SMS and voice messages) reflect costs already incurred with telecom and messaging providers and are non-refundable once consumed.
5. Non-refundable items
- One-time setup, onboarding, training or migration fees once the work has commenced.
- Consumed metered usage and third-party pass-through charges.
- Applicable taxes already remitted to authorities, except as required by law.
6. How to request a refund
Send a refund request to connect@acadflows.com with your institution name, account/invoice number, payment reference and the reason for the request. We may ask for additional verification to prevent fraud.
7. Refund timelines & method
Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within [7–10] business days of approval. The time for funds to reflect depends on your bank or payment provider. We do not provide cash refunds.
